We are looking to appoint a new Rabbi!
The Auckland Hebrew Congregation is entering a year which will present the greatest opportunities the community has ever witnessed, since its inception in the 1850s, and we have one key piece of our Vision missing.
Thanks to the generous support of the Sir Woolf Fisher Charitable Trust, we have been able to secure a new community campus located in Remuera, in the eastern suburbs of Auckland. The new campus is presently a School and has ample facilities to accommodate the various components of the Auckland Hebrew Congregation, Kadimah School and Pre-School.
We have all the planning in place and know what we want to achieve to create an inter-generational step change, which the new site offers the congregation.
What we don't have is a charismatic Rabbinic family to join us in the move and take the lead for our spiritual growth and pastoral care.
