Bnei Akiva Seminar in Waihi!

We will miss being at the AHC for Shabbat but are so VERY excited to be at Waihi this Shabbat with our wonderful BA Madrichim.
We have a great group of new Mads and are so excited to be working once again with the older Mads.
Thanks to wonderful people, we have received some donations towards this weekend and we will be able to create a bit more of a special atmosphere for our great BA volunteers.
For some of you, BA might mean a winter and
summer camp but for our Mads, it’s a year long programme filled with Peulot, events, Mishloch Manot, second Seder and much more.
They deserve to enjoy some time off to discuss the year ahead and experience a Shabbat with their fellow Mads.
Thank you all for your support - the movement is where it’s at thanks to that love and support.

Ladies Night

A few months ago I discovered this unbelievable beautician.
Professional, natural, gentle and extremely sweet.
She makes her way to Auckland every week to treat ladies in the city and works her magic on many happy clients. I wish I had a before and after picture but I can honestly say, I put on a lot less make up thanks to her.

THIS MONDAY (15/2) 7:30PM, she is coming to give YOU some of her knowledge and some basic tips that can change your face.

Last week!

Mazal Tov Jesse!

What an exciting and special Shabbat!
Huge Mazal Tov to Jesse and the whole Da Costa family for an outstanding Simcha with such happiness and love in the air.
It was so exciting watching Jesse have such outstanding confidence and perform in such a wonderful way this past Shabbat.
We sat (when our kids allowed us to) and looked at Jesse full of Nachas at the derech (way) he has performed throughout the past year.
Mazal Tov to you all and thank you for letting us participate in the teaching of such a special guy.

Young Adults’ enjoy Sabich

This Thursday night we had close to 20 young adults come over and enjoy some delicious Sabich.
If you are not firmiliar with Sabich, you are missing out and you need to contact us ASAP!

Thanks to all those busy young adults for making the effort and coming to the CBD at night, just to have some fun and be with us until almost midnight.

We love having you and we cant wait for our next date :)

Joint Collaboration in the Jewish community

Last year was the first time that BA, along with the Bar Mitzvah girls of the class of 2020, made Mishlochey Manot together.

With great spirits and lots of friendships being formed, our great Mads with the super post BM girls got together once again and created Mishlochey Manot for the wider community, families and families in need.
These connections lead to a strong, healthy, young and special community.
The importance of creating these joint projects is immeasurable and we can only hope and pray these collaborations continue for years to come.
Special thanks to Florence Cohen Smith and Michelle Egan who made this happen.
