Encouraging Zionism all around

It was an honour being hosted at Aria Park Retirement Village where Elisheva shared some stories from her service in the IDF.
It was exciting to meet many skilled and wise people and even more exciting to hear that many of them have Jewish friends and are big supporters of Israel.

Covid 19 Bummer

Sadly a very busy weekend became a very quiet one.
Some of our weekend plans such as a young adults’ meeting, a very exciting Bat Mitzvah and Shabbat hosting were all postponed due to Covid-19 sneaking up again (and on our street. . .)
We are looking forward to celebrating with Bella on her new Bat Mitzvah date and can’t wait to make it an even bigger celebration!

Bar & Bat Mitzvah students are getting excited..

Sunday’s class started out with a mini celebration breakfast for our amazing Bella who coped so well with her Bat Mitzvah being postponed.
We started off our class with some yummy hot waffles and then moved on to event planning and rehearsing.
These amazing students will be presenting their journey on the BM program at an event that is all about them.
This class focused on allocating jobs, planning it all to the smallest details and performing in front of the group with their final presentation.
We can’t wait!

Conversational Hebrew Club

This week we learnt some basic and important words in Hebrew using some fun kiddy books!
We’ve been focusing lots on learning Hebrew through cooking but this class we learnt some Hebrew using fun, colorful and cool Israeli childhood books.
See you next week!

Mazal Tov Isabelle Silverman

We can’t wait to have some fun (as it is always fun) with Issi this upcoming Shabbat.
It’s such a wonderful feeling jumping from one Simcha to another and we are so excited to see our group complete the Simcha at the shul with their friends and family around.
Mazal Tov Issi and the whole Silverman family!

Thank you

While we have decided to continue on with life and not slow it down, our little ones have been the luckiest kids around.
Every morning while we help the Kadimah students learn the Tfil’a, Eden is cared for by his on duty Savta Elaine and many more people walking by.
Naveh is loved and supported by the amazing Preschool staff and we are left to try and keep running our daily duties.
None of this would be possible without so many wonderful, warm and loving people we have in this community.
We are far from home but are forever grateful for the second family we have found here.
Thank you all <3

Coming up

  • Isabelle Silverman’s Bat Mitzvah!

  • Hebrew Club- 3:15 on Monday, all welcome (not only Kadimah students).

  • Culture Day at Kadimah!

  • JNA-hoping exams won’t get in our way this time! Tuesday, 7:30PM at our house!

  • Bnei Akiva Peulot writing- this Wednesday. We are doing our best to make sure all campers on BA camp have memorable, meaningful and fun Peulot planned out for them.

Shabbat Shalom!
Lots of love to all,
The Fogels
